MSU ALUMNI GATHERING & NETWORKING BRUNCH 2014 @ SCD COURTYARD

We are proud to announce that nearly fifty Management & Science University (MSU) alumni from the very first batch (Class of 2004) up to the current batch (Class of 2014) turned up  for MSU Alumni Gathering & Networking Brunch 2014. The event is annually organised by Students & Career Development Department (SCD) and the main objective of the gathering is to reconnect all alumni from different batches and build networking among them. There were also sharing sessions delivered by Mohd Ar Rahman Hussin (Class of 2009) and Wan Khairul Hakimin Wan Muhammad (Class of 2006).

Mohd Ar Rahman Hussin (Bachelor in Biomedicine, Class of 2009), who was a member of The Students Representative Council (SRC), said, “I enjoyed my entire journey and experience in this university. I still remember my experience on my trip to Shanghai, China and I’ve learned that cooperation is always better than competition”.

The author of “Travelog Enam Puluh Liter”, Wan Khairul Hakimin Wan Muhammad (Bachelor in Decision Science, Class of 2006) added, “I started writing in blog and published my first book in 2013 entitled “Memanis Kehidupan”. I’ve been holding on three principles in my life, which is to be humble anywhere and with anyone, to learn and never stop learning, and always think positive and be positive”. When he was studying at MSU, Wan Khairul spent his free time by doing a part-time job at catering company in between his hectic academic schedule and has shown his leadership through Kelab Ikatan Studi Sains Pemutusan (KIISP).

Tiong Chern Jong, a graduate of (Bachelor in Computer Science, Class of 2004) and now a Technical Application Specialist at IDS Medical System said, “The alumni gathering and networking brunch has given us the opportunity to re-connect with old friends and explore opportunities. It is a good platform for alumni to gather and contribute back to the community”.

Each person’s journey in this university was inevitably unique, discovered and cherished by every path them going through. May this annual event will continue to strengthen the relationship among the alumni and encourage mutually beneficial ‘networking’ among them.
